Until recently we could all rely on those yellow planning notices advising of proposed planning applications that might affect us. These notices are not a statutory requirement and the Society understands that RBWM has withdrawn this service. In the absence of any alternative other than a press release or word of mouth the Society will publish the weekly planning applications list as issued by RBWM.

 

Individuals can respond to any application by letter or email. The Society reviews each application and any comments are sent to RBWM Planning with the weight of our large membership adding strength to our arguments. Applications that are likely to be of general interest are also discussed on our Facebook Group page where you will find out the application number and a direct link to the application details.

If you don't have a direct link to the application you can either search for 'RBWM Planning' which takes you via a  copyright acceptance page to the planning search page or follow this direct link. Here you select Simple Search and enter the application number to take you to the application summary page. This is where you can view all comments, documents etc. We recommend looking at the documents first and usually viewing the site plans and elevations is enough for a good idea of what is going on.
